Natural cork is much more than a closure system: it is a key ally in building the complexity of wine. But are we able to perceive it in the glass?

This tasting offers a sensory and participatory experience to explore the role of cork in the evolution of wine. Through a comparison game, participants will taste young wines and their equivalents aged with natural cork, with the aim of identifying which current wines correspond to the evolved versions.

The tasting is presented as a challenge: will we be able to recognize who is who? Will we be able to detect the mark of ageing, understand how complexity is built, and identify the role that cork plays in this process?

This tasting-dialogue is a unique opportunity to discover long-aged wines—some no longer on the market—and to appreciate the authenticity, longevity, and value of a historic grape variety rooted in a landscape shaped by generations of winegrowers.

The 2025 harvest has been historic in the Penedès DO. Winegrowers and producers have joined forces with the aim of making all Penedès DO wines organic, starting with this harvest, thus making us the world's first 100% organic DO.

Today we celebrate this courageous and environmentally friendly achievement with a tasting of: a white wine, a red wine, a rosé and a Clàssic Penedès.

Their evolution reflects family values, culture, Catalan modernism and emblematic buildings such as Cèsar Martinell's, designed with criteria of aesthetics and production efficiency. In addition, each winery integrates the vision of the partners, the management of the governing council and the professional expertise in the production and marketing of wine.

We will taste 6 unique wines from 6 cooperative wineries that transmit this value of the territory and their people.
