Natural cork is much more than a closure system: it is a key ally in building the complexity of wine. But are we able to perceive it in the glass?

This tasting offers a sensory and participatory experience to explore the role of cork in the evolution of wine. Through a comparison game, participants will taste young wines and their equivalents aged with natural cork, with the aim of identifying which current wines correspond to the evolved versions.

The tasting is presented as a challenge: will we be able to recognize who is who? Will we be able to detect the mark of ageing, understand how complexity is built, and identify the role that cork plays in this process?

The session will explore the human factor behind the collective brand through nine Corpinnat wines that tell personal stories and experiences.

Rosé / Rosado - Rosé has been the most successful still wine category in recent years, led by some famous names from Southern France, but with examples being produced all over the world. What does Spanish rosé  have to offer in this sector? What does it share with contemporary rosé wines from France and elsewhere, and what are its unique qualities?

This tasting offers a journey through a lesser-known Aragón, with a focus on the province of Zaragoza: a landscape shaped by singular vineyards, patient observation of the land, and a deeply artisanal approach to winemaking. Five winegrowers and five Garnacha wines that seek to express, without artifice, the identity of their places of origin.

The selected wines come from unique parcels and reveal the true diversity of Aragonese Garnacha: freshness, tension, and depth. These are wines that focus on soil, altitude, and landscape, prioritising precision and authenticity over predefined styles. An experience designed to show how, quietly, some winegrowers are redefining the contemporary character of Garnacha in Aragón.

Talk “Evolution: Linear or Circular?”: Araceli Ribas and Mireia Pujol-Busquets engage in a dialogue about the evolution of winegrowing projects through six wines from Grandes Pagos de España and their stories. Starting from the idea that evolution is neither a linear nor a circular process, they share personal, generational, and strategic reflections on key decisions, changes in direction, and returns to origins from a new perspective. The wines of Jerez will be among the main protagonists of the sixth edition of BWW. For this edition, we are preparing a tasting with iconic products that will offer an unforgettable—and perhaps unrepeatable—experience. We want to bring the goblin of Jerez to Barcelona (no, obviously not the 1953 fantasy musical comedy film). They say that if Jerez were a musical genre, it would undoubtedly be flamenco (its tabancos are temples of art and wine). But there is no doubt whatsoever that “goblins drink wine from Jerez.” Some have written that, real or not, goblins must favour the generous wines of Jerez, since Jerez is where one of the world’s greatest wines is produced. It is a place as magical as it is real. Victor Hugo once said that “if God had not created Jerez, how imperfect His work would be!” Lord Byron drove the point home by stating that “Jerez de la Frontera is a city that ought to be in Paradise.”

In a glass or on a spoon, we will enter—through the yellow pituitary and the palate—old winery halls with lowered blinds, vineyards of pale albariza soil illuminated by the Andalusian sun and caressed by the sea breeze of Cádiz—between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea—and eternal wines that have lived under the magic of the flower.
